>>2279310Consider the coach - look up Megabus. If you're in one of the big cities, you should be able to get to Scotland on the cheap. Megabus is only a £14 ticket from London to Glasgow; and from Glasgow it's only a train to Milngavie and the West Highland Way. Highly reccomend giving that a try, I did it with some fellow outists this October, best week of my life. Now a week may be poor showing for a 152km hike, but in my defence I did let my feet get waterlogged and rubbed, swollen and blistered to hell...
