Also spotfins. Spotties I only fish for at night now and you just need two colors, halloween and black widow. Day time yeah you do need a couple more.

>>2069261the trick is getting reels serviced once every year to 2 years if you have been taking care of them, that means NEVER dropping them in the sand, always rinsing them with a spray hose after each use by tightening the drag first and then loosing it once you dry them. San Diego is best boat in the fleet btw, day and half I would wait cause this early the bluefin can be super hit or miss. Although desu sometimes you just gotto go for them, my last trip I caught 4, 2 in the 100# class and I had skunked on tuna for the last 5 tuna trips prior, all had been on full days though and the big boys came when they were at the cortez last year.
