I got that Laken bottle in the end and I've been using it for the past few days. So far I'm happy with it. No taste, it doesn't weigh a lot, it's easy to wash. The cap doesn't seem to leak but I fit the bottle vertically in my bag anyway. Only two minor issues are the steel on steel rattle when I unscrew the cap, and it sweats a bit when I put cold water in it, but I can't blame it on the bottle itself and I don't care that much. Do double walled bottles not sweat?
I only hope it doesn't rust or other funky shit. If this can save me from drinking at least part of the estrogens and microplastics, it's all good.
