>>2410624Yeah, I did this about 2 months ago in Korea. I walked about 550km in 17 or so days. I had a 13 litre osprey daypack. Somehow managed to fit a 2man tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, divvy, down jacket, rain jacket, battery pack & a headlamp. I started in Seoul and followed a cycling path 90% of the time to Busan. There were convenience stores everywhere so I'd always be able to get food & drink every 3 or so hours and when I wanted to shower or charge my portable charger I'd just walk into a motel/love hotel and pay 30,000 - 40,000 won for a night. As for camping, when I was tired and had reached a nearby town I'd just scout for a nice place to sleep - I had the option of using my minimal bivy or setting up a 2 man tent - I'd just use whatever suited the location the best. I slept in bushes, park benches, schools - one night I got so drunk on soju I fell asleep in my bivvy by some bushes in a park next to a hotel, I woke up 3 hours later and inflated my air mattress and went back to sleep. No one ever came up and bothered me once while stealth camping or wild camping in Korea - in my opinion it's one of the easiest places in the world & probably most pleasant to wild camp. I'd love to do something like this again and I highly recommend anyone considering doing something like this to give it a go - it was honestly the most fun I've had in a long time.
pic related is the night I passed out on soju
