I bought a boker off eBay once (pic related), where I could only fix the centering and action by putting the screws exactly where they were during the initial assembly. Luckily in that case it was easy to find, as the polishing if the scales had taken material off the screws which essentially showed the right orientation and position. often even the script at the backmost of the grip can still be essential for centering and action.
