And you should approach this problem in different way. Tracks could be an asset. If enemy thinks they are after you and follow your tracks, you have now created a perfect ambush point, that you have selected beforehand. Setting up traps and mines in tracks is also normal guerrilla warfare tactic. So, if enemy patrol finds your tracks, they have a problem. They do not know how many have gone in that line. They do not know if they are civilian or guerrilla footprints. They do not know if the trail is mined or if there is last man staying behind in grerat ambush point. If done right- they do not even know in wich way you were going.
