The coyotes shout back, seemingly closer. We're armed but in deep snow moving at a snail's pace. Buddy kept shouting a few times before I told him to fuck off. Coyotes seem to get closer every time. Probably wasn't in any legitimate danger especially circumstances considering, but it was particularly distressing not being able to move quickly when all gut senses told you to move quickly.
