I've never done more than a brief scan of /k/, so not "big into guns" despite the fact that I have owned plenty of them over probably double the decades the majority of you have lived, but while this gun discussion is going on I'd be curious as to your opinions on what I shot the other day...a Mosin-Nagant, and SKS (among a couple of other moderns). I really liked the feel of them, and was very effective with them, far more so than with an AR15, which I just couldn't hit shit with, despite tearing metal targets up with the others (full standing stance all around). I think about the only "negative" I thought of them was their weight.
