>>1654348Public land, but it's dangerous to get to. It takes an hour of hiking across the creek to access and I can't even get there right now because of the recent rains that completely flood access to it. The creek is around 5 miles long and there's probably even richer creeks around but those areas are already claimed by other people.
>>1654353Probably not, I've thought about just going all out but I really don't want to break the law.
>>1654356>>1654366Yes I didn't word it properly, also it's a Todd Hoffman reference to the Gold Rush show.
>>1654386Yes it's gold. Just tiny ground up flakes though, no nuggets but still unmistakably shiny in a way that you can't ever mistake it for anything else. Here's another kicker about the gold deposits here - it's recent, as in only deposited here within the last 100 years because I'm also finding bits of rusted antique iron nails and other metal crap. There were massive floods here during the 1960s that must've created the current layer of gold that I'm digging up, back during the 1840s rush this area was already mined and depleted. I didn't find this spot by accident, I did a lot of prior research trying to find out where other people have already found gold.
