As for savotta: the "retro" line as in your pic doesn't have a hip belt, which can be a problem if you're packing heavy stuff. Also, their proper bags are very heavy and militaristic to be used for regular camping (I have a Jaakari M). However! Savotta is currently working on a civilian-type external frame pack, probably similar to the old models 825 and 725. I am waiting for that before I start looking to buy bags.
