I myself go /out/ with my GF and some friends. With friends it's mostly for like 3-5 days hikes in the country, and my GF of course comes.
But with my GF we go on longer trips abroad, we recently went to Nepal for 3 weeks. She isn't really "out", she just likes seeing beautiful landscapes, and she knows she has to walk for that, and she's okay with it.
She lets me take care of the gear, plan the route and all that stuff, and she's not the "omg my feet hurt we've been walking for 10 minutes are we there yet" type. She basically accompagnies me, and I'm fine with that.
