But when it's work you enjoy... something you don't mind doing every day, then it sucks a lot less. Some of it's the work, some of it's the people, some of it's the company in general. Have to find that "right fit" for you.
I love my job as an engineer. I get to play with all kinds of cool shit, and design things that thousands of people all over the world get to use.
But it's one of many things that defines who I am. I am not just "my job", like a lot of other people I've worked with.
Occasionally I get to mix hobbies... engineering and snowmobiles, for example. That's when I get letters from the manufacturer saying my warranty is no longer valid.
