>processingA "Victoria-Corona Grain Mill/Grinder" will make perfect cornmeal and grits. It doesn't do finer flour though. They are under $50, but there are no-brand ones half t hat price. I can't vouch for the cheaper ones. You can also make the nixtamal then run it still wet through the grinder. It does well with tons of other things that need a similar grind/consistency. The only thing it doesn't like are things that are dehydrated that have not been dehydrated to "cracker crisp" like tomato slices or peppers; as well as anything with overly long fibers.
