i wear 5.11 and carrhart pants exclusively, 5.11 is the best year round even if the cold is extreme. i own wool pants and wear them under in winter camping.
i do wear some flannel, one is fleece for winter layering and one is cotton, the cotton one is so soft i use it as a makeshift pillow in all 4 seasons atop my rucksack.
i mostly just wear earthtone button up shirts though, no brand in particular but cotton canvas is common for me. i do own one that is made of 5.11 like material thats coated with teflon and i am probably going to buy more.
