Randomly going to do some muskie fishing, relative talked to a guy she knows that knows a spot where a bunch of muskie hang out (basically trapped there by lack of waterflow now).
Thing Is I dotn have any muskie gear and the heaviest rod I have is a MH 7'02 baitcaster.
Would it be enough to throw on some 50lbs braid and maybe a steel leader? Also would larger swim jigs or paddle tails + jighead workout?
