I think some people are unlucky enough to cross over with the "liminal" sometimes. the Dover Demon, stuff like that. something truly unsettling scuttles through your reality for a little while then bounces. If you're very lucky, it won't take an interest in you. We are coded to be afraid of the dusk for a reason. Never know what you might find out there.
