In the low desert the temps are perfect in winter highs around 60-70s and lows of 40-50s usually never freezes (except rarely) and humidity is higher in winter. In the high deserts it's the same story but 10-30 degrees cooler during both day and night, it can freeze hard at night even though it was a pleasant 70F day out hours before. You should bring warm clothes for nights, and as always a fuckton of water. Arizona has both high and low deserts, 70ft ASL by the Sea of Cortes to 7,000ft ASL up near 4corners and a large conifer forest separating the two desert regions roughly.
