>>310697> Anyone ever encountered any weird stuff while hiking/camping/etc.?Doesn't really qualify as "hiking" but...
Metro Detroit, back in the the 1979-1980, my two buddies and me are walking in a local woods (about 100 acres,
though the area was already well on it's way to becoming suburbia) when my one friend picks up a rock and whips
it into the woods (at what he later said he thought was a dark tree trunk) when suddenly we're physically stopped
in our tracks by a very loud and fuck'n scary as shit scream/growl/roar (it was straight out of Hollywood).
We looked at each other with bug-eyes and took off running as fast as we could for probably a half mile, until we
stopped and looked back, but we didn't see anything.
Was it a Sasquatch? Like I said, the area was being built up more and more each year but there were still all
kinda wooded lots and undeveloped property around, which a Sasquatch could conceivably use as travel routes
and this screech was like nothing I've ever heard since.
I'm surprised we didn't shit our pants.
