I'm sure there's also a lot of people who just don't know how bad it is for the encironment. Not even fish necessarily, but birds and small mammals could get kilt by it too. Some of it is also probably left by people who don't fish very much because they don't know it's fucking annoying to get snagged on somebody else's old line.
