I slept in the manor last night. I planned on the 'creepy room' due to it's adjacent window escape, but there was a large generator powered on in there, so I chose another room. I ended up getting about two hours sleep because of the freezing cold, the loud noises, and anxiety over the possibility of unexpected visitors. At one point I heard a siren outside and became terrified, tripping over myself to pack and leave immediately. It turned out to just a passing ambulance or something. I keep revising the risk associated with this breaking and entering -- high, low, high. I almost feel at home there -- and yet, others have an entirely contrasting frame of mind. I doubt anyone's suspicious of continuous trespassing and break ins' of this stately home. What a weird world.
I brought some Coca-Cola with me. Popped it in the freezer so it would be nice and chill.
