>>1526815Moles eat insects and worms. Voles eat roots, tubers, and other plant matter. I think the thornless blackberry is like raspberry in that it does really well propagating via cuttings. You can basically take one cane, cut it into 6" lengths, plant them all and have tons of new plants. You just need to make sure the cuttings include nodes for leaves up top and roots underground.

Oh speaking of blackberries, that tree line behind you in the image would be super for planting blackberries/raspberries against. There's lots of expansion that can happen. Even penning your chickens with established berry canes makes for a good place for them to stay in the shade and get fallen fruit later on.
>>1526850For transplanting, I normally wait 24 hours unless the soil is super dry in the first place; which allows for broken roots to seal up. For nightshade cuttings, I water them immediately and make sure the soil is always moist, but not holding pools of water. You'll know roots are forming when the top starts growing vigorously again. In two weeks, they should be just fine. If they are outside, make sure to keep them shaded like in
