I prefer my esee 6 over my bk 9. The 9 is an amazing chopper, it is a lil to big for my liking. I carry the Esee 6 scout carry (Pic related) with my izula 2 for my neck knife.

The BK 9 is more of a cleaver, while the Esee 6 is better for finer stuff, can still chop. It not being as big as the BK 9, you're able to use the tip a lot better, have more control of the blade.

I went with esee just due to the warranty alone. No matter how it breaks...be it on purpose or not, they replace it. I broke my izula 2 using it as a mini pry bar. Only thing esee cared about is where I got the knife.
