>>2519739There’s a lotto system for alligator tags in Louisiana. I knew there were around 1,200 tags per years but I looked it up and they’re spread out over 400 people.
Personally I think it would be over rated. Fun sure, but there are better opportunities. You bait some hooks, come back the next day or so, choot em in da head (lol), and drag it into a boat. All of this is done in the peak of Louisiana summer (late August and early September), literally some of the worst weather in the country.
Better fun to be had here:
>hog huntingThere’s an extremely dense hog population.
>white tail deerAgain, it’s one of the most dense populations in the country. Mild winters means they rarely get skinny, and even the blacks can enjoy it because we all know how black folks feel about the cold.
>Nutria Rodeo Swamp Safari ShootoutGoogle it. It’s basically the Louisiana version of the Simpsons “whacking day” episode, but they shoot nutria from boats. There are prizes for most nutria, biggest nutria, best team name, best team costume, a nutria toss (?), and nutria cod hole (?).
