If you really look close enough you can see (some pixels of) the abrupt vertical spike happening at the end right around the time of the Industrial Revolution. This RATE of change is actually unprecedented and it is undeniably linked to human CO2 production. There's no reason to believe plant growth is going to be able to stabilize the temperature increase before it gets too hot to come back from, especially when we're getting hot enough to melt the permafrost.
Even if we're not going to become Venus things are going to get a whole lot worse before they get any better.
