>>2478214I always try to collect and spread seeds collected from my area. I like the idea of using the same genetics that have been growing in the area for generations. They're more adapted to the local environment. Like you don't want to plant Black Eye Susans from Virginia in Pennsylvania or vice versa. Im sure they'll grow but you're mixing up the genetics and changing them for the rest of time. Planting seeds willy nilly has more of an impact than people think.
