>>1470402don't fall for the north face jew, it actually weighs 6lbs (I went to the store to pick up my order because it looked good online, immediately returned it when i weighed it at the store; the older model at REI was the 5 lb one but TNF is now a fashion company, not an outdoor goods company)
For the backpacking bundle you're better off buying each piece individually.
The REI passage 2 weights 5.5lbs, which sucks if you're going solo. I'd personally stick with the kelty. Also look into the Kelty Salida 2, you lose 1 door and the stargazing port but it weights a bit less
then you get any sleeping bag that fits your budget and weight for cheap (30F for summer only, 20F spring/summer/fall). don't be some fashion faggot and get whatever costs cheapest/weighs less for your purpose here:
https://www.rei.com/rei-garage/c/sleeping-bags-and-accessories For sleeping pad just get a theramrest zlite ($40), don't fuck around with inflatables unless you're okay with sleeping on the cold hard ground when it inevitably gets punctured
backpack just get literally whatever is on sale on craigslist that's big enough but fits your budget
