>>2238949yea i’d agree with that then. i get the same feel in small town colorado too; its how marijuana legalization passed there and elsewhere because of all these small town people that hold more hybrid views. i think at least some of it has to be people out in these seriously rural areas just dont spend nearly as much time watching the news or tv in general or internet politics as suburbanites do and are less likely to get wrapped up in culture wars nonsense.
that has been changing recently tho, that 2016 election even got tiny rural communities fucked up. places that would maybe only have a few yardsigns for either candidate now had a lot more full identity trumpers
