>>877290I use glass canning jars and a vacuum sealer. The vacuum sealer adapter fits on the jars (small mouth and wide mouth versions) and the hose can fit in any vacuum sealer model or brake bleeder for vehicles. I have both, but normally use the brake bleeder with small batches.
Here's a pic about how I modified a brake bleeder to work better. I can go as much as 25inHg with it, but aim for about 23inHg instead. That way I know it is 20inHg or more when I pull the tube off. Google "brake bleeder vacuum sealing".
>>877312Here's the thing, you can put many small packages of mixes into a single mason jar and still seal it up. You don't have to buy a bunch of tiny mason jars. The containers you use inside the mason jars can be anything, plastic vials, small envelopes you made, etc. Just make sure they can breath so they don't pop when you vacuum seal it after each opening. Toss in a packet of silica gel and you have a near perfect system for being completely water proof and long lasting.
