>>2553917Last two years, have been pic related. Redwing iron rangers. Prior to that another pair of redwing boots in an amber color. I also carry a pair of shower slippers (cheap Walmart crap) and a pair of no-slip all black sneakers for working in places that require non-slip shoes like restaurants. Primarily my boots though. Only thing I do besides break them in is if they come new and have the soles with the redwing logo. I take a piece of hot iron and burn off the logo.. I typically don't wear anything branded/expensive. If it's got a brand patch (such as a hat even) I carry a seam ripper (good for many things, weighs nothing and is small) and will cut the patch off that way. Same with shirts and packs. Only thing that's
still branded is my motorcycle jacket.
Some kids tried to rob me in Ontario Oregon. I just stood my ground and they fucked off.. no biggie just little wannabe thugs probably bored of their shit town.
There is a sweet older couple in monument, Oregon, like old as dirt.. I haven't been there in a few years hope they're doing okay. Oregon's pretty nice if you stay to Northeast especially if you like being outdoors and camping. State has some pretty weird camping rules, but nothing that's not too complicated to follow. Mainly due to the wildfires and I understand that. I use a portable propane cooking setup that uses a little green bottles so I can circumvent having to build a fire.
