>>1860316Just got this Surge yesterday and I spent all night pimping the sheath out. The sheath didn't come with extra slots for the bit kit, so I spent a few hours engineering a separate addon and stuck it to the bottom of the sheath. It's even detachable to save weight. I added a permanent marker, flashlight, butane lighter, tweezers, and a tiny screwdriver to the mix too.
As an aside, of all the things I hate in all multutools, even the Surge, is the sheer redundancy in tools. The surge has practically 3 different flat head screwdrivers, and 2 of them are right next to each other - one's just slightly larger. And yet they tally this up in the total tool count on the item listing. They even count a key ring as a "tool". It's like they're either running out of ideas for flat tools, or they're just padding out their setup, which pisses me off. I've heard of ricing your multitool with custom tools, though, so if anyone here has tried that, I'd like to hear.
