If you want a light shelter, then use a hammock or just use a tarp/pup on the ground. Those military single/double person shelters are not worth it because they are heavy and you can get a civilian alternative that is either lighter or larger or cheaper.
But if you do any cold weather camping or milsim activities, a BW tent cant go wrong. You can fit a stove in one, buy three sets and you have all the comfort space you ever need.
