Its pretty nice, tho I prefer less clutter on the deck space.

well he did say he was bringing a little kid...
and he's asking n00b questions...

and fishing..kayaks are a much more stable platform. Hook a big fish and go for a ski on a yak, easy to just use your hips and guide yourself...then do it in a canoe....unlike a kayak theres not a lot of secondary in a canoe.

try gaffing a 20lb dorado in a canoe...
try netting a big thrashing fish in a canoe...
On a yak you can just sidesaddle the kayak with your feet in the water stick the fish and toss it into the the fishbag all in one go. try it in a canoe...youll dip.
