Thing is you have to pay for that land somehow and it's maintenance (with good grass and infrastructure to handle sheep) pay for the sheep in the first place, pay for any health treatments you give them etc etc. You're not going to make much with a handful of sheep but if you had a couple thousand it starts to look like something you can make a living off.. much like any farming. But that's no small investment, not in money or in the time you're going to spend looking after the little buggers
