>>888663Well, I had sprouted mine last year July, so they couldn't get too much of that year's summer heat/light either and looked like this after 6 months (January), as you can see at that point they were still quite small too (~10cm each, while now they're 1.30m and 1.20m respectively), it's normal for growth to slow down again now that it gets darker
They only really picked up speed once I moved them outside in the garden, full sun once the temps allowed it (late April, but of course slowly getting them used to it on sunny days in previous weeks so they didn't burn)
Don't know what size containers I had exactly at given points, but in the beginning I did re-pot them every 2 months or so (even in winter) as soon as the roots danced in circles at the bottom, now it has slowed down to about once in 3-4 months, and I probably won't have to this winter, current ones are ~6.5 litre
Also I try to use dark ones now mostly so the sun can better heat them up, it's a rather cool climate
