The easiest way I've used it was to zip tie it to thin wooden stakes at the center of the stake and nowhere else. And then resting the stakes in upside down clay pots for both easy movement/removal and rot resistance (versus in the ground or in pvc). Pic related.
Tying them just in the center of the stakes means you can easily move the netting out of the way as needed to access the bed. Pests don't do that so well at all when dealing with bird netting. Tying it off any more than that just makes your life harder and has little further effect on pests.
