though system use different methods of sending information they all work the same way broadcasting timestamped data.
so for example in kazakhstan you might get 4 GPS satellites and 7 GLONASS satellites. so the system with the 7 will be more reliable and robust in use as a temporary loss of signal from 1-3 satellites is covered by redundancy.
>>1224611pro tip as phones can use A-GPS they are a lot faster and reliable then normal handheld gps like garmin. as they can load correction data for weather, ionosphere as well as prediction data that tells what satellites it can expect. unless you are too retarded to keep offline maps on you phone there is no advantage in a dedicated gps. not even battery life as the extra weight of a extra gps could just as well be used for a power bank.
