How do you guys catch fish in the thaw? I launched some mealworms on a microjig and a slip bobber in the same spots I killed them ice fishing and only got what I'm 90% sure was just a product of the wind. It's bitter cold and there's one small section of ice but the rest is free. I don't even give a shit about bass or anything, a good old bluegill would make me happy enough. All I saw was this little bastard who was washed ashore. I was about to use him as bait when all of the sudden he started moving so I revived him and sent him on his way.
