>>1301327Yeah, I got one of those trailers to use with my dog, and NEVER use it. It is a lot of work to pull so I just bike by myself and hike with my dog. I've been looking into getting one of the one wheeled versions but I'm not sure if it will work or if I like being able to go places I can't take a bike sometimes.
>>1302276Agreed! It may be true that cars will pass closer to you on average, and helmets don't protect against concussions, but they will keep a minor injury from becoming a hospitalization.
>>1302436In the city I don't wear a helmet but I do when I'm travelling because there's a lot more contact with traffic, it's unfamiliar, and biking for 6-8hrs you get distracted and tired, you bike after dark alot.. This is when accidents happen.
