>>2207402This is a great answer. If you took the upper part of Everest and plopped it into the PNW, some of the routes on it would be the most difficult climbs in the Cascades, and even the "easy" routes are still quite sketchy, albeit hand held by guides, pic rel.
Some of the worlds best climbers/alpinists are still trying new routes up Everest every now and then.
