I've been using pic related and just add the grounds to the boiling water. If you nail the grind, the grounds will fall to the bottom after about 5 minutes of soaking and form a kind of a puck that stays on the bottom. When you do it properly there are zero grounds on the bottom of your cup after.
Making coffee like this is common knowledge around here, but like all things it has a learning curve.
