I've got a few pumpkin plants that I've been growing on my windowsill since last Halloween and they've mostly been fine, but very recently I noticed a rather disturbing change in my "middle"/medium-sized plant. It might not show up too well in the attached picture, but the region of the stem beneath the first node appears to have died off, turning brown and dry. Following this, the leaves above have become very wilty despite remaining green.
Is there any way to salvage this plant? I've become rather attached to the few that I have and this one in particular seemed promising
