>>1937735I've made it a point to find old growth forest out here. There's some stretches in the otter creek wilderness, cathedral state park, I have yet to visit gaudineer knob, and also separately hearts content scenic area in nw pennsylvania had the biggest, oldest trees I've seen.
There's definitely an old growth tree here and there in many places I've hiked, but finding stands of mostly old growth is certainly harder out this way due to the comprehensive logging efforts. Seen some cool mills doe.
