>>1220403This is one of the many reasons I think people, who remove all "weeds" from their lawn, are crazy. I mow my lawn, but I never remove weeds unless they are something terribly invasive or painful like thistles, poison ivy, and multiflora rose. I have a huge list of edible plants in my lawn; lambs quarter, chickweed, & purslane being the better ones for salad greens/pot herbs.
The list in this image is what I mostly have on my place that's medicinal or edible and ones marked with stars being my favored ones to eat.
