I actually liked bloodstones for similar, as they were a good stable fit for me

The cons?
>no rand for protection, deep scuffs immediately>elastic loosens over time, doesn't keep out crud, holds water>you will lose them immediately in sucking mud>no drainage>ugly as sin>sloppy fit with ankle, heel area is a bit too largeoh and they start to get a little uncomfy on the arches at mile 20 but the right insole would probably solve this
