Their wool liner is a must for winter. They are just heavy as hell and a bit restrictive once you start layering more than that when things drop to -20F. The best part is that briars and thorns are not a problem at all.

When I did lots of fence work, in bad weather for farms, I wore one of these (long, black, oilskin drover with wool liner.) It was great as a wind breaker, kept me dry, and prevented brambles, thorns, and barbed wire from getting through.

It is really heavy, but really nice to have in a cold rainstorm.

It is awesome over lighter materials because it won't get ripped and torn in brush and brambles. I always wear it when clearing brush in the winter and when out in bad weather.
