>>2772339an interesting feature for this lookout- that I have only seen at about 4 -5 of the 20 - 30 lookouts i've stayed at, is the telegraph glass insulated chairs to protect from lightning strikes. never had to spend a night on these, but in a previous journal entry at this same lookout I read a couple spent all night sitting on the chairs waiting for the storm to pass.
