>>1420006This probably seems really stupid, but the best ice boots I've ever had are a pair of mukluks with some artsy-fartsy vibram soles. Traction is pretty terrible but you can feel the ice under you super well and shift your weight accordingly. It's worked better for me than cleats or anything else I've tried.
