I had a semi pet raccoon I used to feed scraps to at night after my parents went to sleep. He'd come right up and eat them out of my hand and was my best friend and got me through a rough childhood in Maine but one night some neighbor kids showed up in my yard and pulled him apart like soft bread. I can't even look at them anymore.
