Thanks. Ive never used Abu Garcia so I'm hesitant about it. I'll probably check out Daiwa rods more tomorrow. Going to pair it with a Shimano Scorpion because I realize I have one laying around but it might be spooled a bit heavy as I was using it for light inshore casting. I'm going spinning for trout, I bought pic related and will pair it with a Legalis LT 1000, I figure since I'm way more into Saltwater a more modestly priced reel like the Legalis is just fine for freshwater.
