Based on that anons comment on mosquito nets I bought a Jack Wolfskin gossamer 2 man tent last year. In the summer time I just use the bug net because the outer layer is a separate item. And it was like 100USD.

I bought this last year, Jack Wolfskin gossamer II. It's kinda hard to find cheaper tunnel tents in the US but this one is like 80 bucks when Cabelas have sale on it.

I haven't tried it in really hard rain yet but so far it holds up well. When I was in the cascades last summer I just used the mosquito net and that worked great too. So it's a decent light weight option if you don't want to spend a lot of money.
